Meet the Founder
Animal Welfare Activist | Certified Community Cat Program Manager
Danna Stillman
Certified Community Cat Program Manager specializing in TNVR program development, implementation, and community-wide adoption.
TNR PRO Hero Foundation, Inc. was founded by Danna Stillman, an Animal Welfare Activist whose work is grounded in hands-on experience, humane policy, and evidence-based community animal management.
Danna serves on the City of Miami Beach Animal Welfare Committee, where she works to advance humane policy, responsible community animal population control, and practical solutions that protect community animals and the neighborhoods they live in. She is also an active community animal caregiver and hands-on TNVR practitioner, working directly with clinics, rescue partners, and volunteers to trap, sterilize, vaccinate, foster, and place animals into safe, permanent homes whenever possible.
TNVR Credentials & Certifications
Danna is a Certified Community Cat Program Manager through the University of the Pacific, with advanced training in Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR), community cat population control, and movement-building. Her certifications include:
• Certified Community Cat Program Manager — University of the Pacific
• Neighborhood Cats TNVR Training — Foundations & Advanced
• Neighborhood Cats: Building a TNR Movement
• ASPCA Return-to-Home & Surrender Prevention Certification
Her background bridges public policy, animal science, and education, with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego; animal science studies at Cal Poly Pomona; and a K–6 Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. This foundation informs her ability to design humane programs, navigate municipal systems, and educate caregivers and volunteers effectively.
Before founding TNR PRO Hero Foundation, Danna held leadership roles in nonprofit organizations supporting healthy families and strong communities, including Community Resource Center in San Diego and the South Beach Victory Garden in Miami Beach. She also brings early tech entrepreneurship experience as co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Webshots, the world’s first online photo-sharing platform.
Across every chapter of her career, Danna has brought the same approach: lead with purpose, challenge the status quo, and build systems that create lasting change—for animals and the people who care about them.

Beyond the Work
Outside of animal welfare, Danna is a Master Gardener and an advanced, rescue-certified scuba diver and first responder. She is currently transforming her Miami Beach backyard into a fully edible garden, applying the same long-term thinking and respect for living systems that guide her work with community animals.
Danna lives in Miami Beach with her husband, Philip Stillman, a trial lawyer specializing in ADA defense, and shares his belief that access, equity, and accountability are essential to strong, humane communities.
